About traditions.im
A traditions hub from REALLYBYTE, based in the Isle of Man.
traditions.im is a hub for customs and celebrations from REALLYBYTE, based in the Isle of Man. It is for KS2 and KS3 pupils and teachers, families and anyone curious about why we do what we do. Each tradition will get its own little site, built by hand and fact-checked against sources such as Encyclopaedia Britannica, the V&A, Historic England, Culture Vannin and Manx National Heritage.
Sourced and fair. Every fact links to its source. Where sources disagree, as they do about Twelfth Night, we show both. Each fact shows when we checked it.
Not official. traditions.im is independent. It is not affiliated with, or endorsed by, any organisation it mentions.
The pictures on this site are our own drawings.
